Well, no idea bout indo tastes, however at least for me

remakes mostly much better than the old version...and for Zhang ji zhong production in Jin Yong Novels, well what can i say.......only one word "MasterPiece" Cannot Compared with TVB version or Taiwanese one...

TVB Version only good at the eighties, (because not so much options at that time :p ) but for now it's a bit old and draggy (only suitable for people who likes soap and chinese opera :)) )

Taiwanese : OMG, too much intrique and tears (only suitable for mom's and grandma's)

ZJZ production for Xiao Ao Jiang Hu, She Diao ying Xiong Zhuan, Tian long Ba Bu and what next Shen Diao Xia Lu, Bi Xue Jian...and Lu Ding Ji (hopefully he will do all of Jin Yong Novels and Gu Long as well)

Wanna Collect all of the series.......Two Thumbs Up and if i can i wanna give 5 thumbs up :p
