"Tian Long Ba Bu" is a swordsplay novel that comprises of 14 different stories and it represents one of Jin Yong's numerous achievements. Now, with the cooperation of renowned comic artist, Huang Yu Lang, the story is brought to millions of Chinese around the world in a more interactive way in the form of comics.

The "Tian" and "Long" are the main characters in this game and "Ba Bu" represents the eight different characters which are:

1."Tian" which is sky in English represents Sky God. In Buddhist teachings, the sky god does not necessary be the highest ranked. It just means that they enjoy better and longer blessings from god. When the are time has come, they will also have to leave this world.

2."Long" represents the dragon king.

3."Ye Cha" represents a god of the netherworld. It is able to feed on ghosts. We normally associate Ye Cha with a devil, but in Buddhism, many Ye Cha are good and their duty is to protect the netherworld.

4."Qian Da Po" doesn't eat meat or drink wine. It only seeks fragrance as a form of nourishment. It is a joy god which serves the Jade Emperor. It gives off a pleasant smell. It is very unpredictable.

5."Ah Xiu Luo" is a very unique deity. The guy is very ugly whereas the lady is incredibly beautiful. It often engage itself in battles with the imperial family. As the imperial family has good food which Ah Xiu Luo doesn't have and Ah Xiu Luo has the beauty that the family does not have, they are jealous of one another. Every time there is a fierce battle, the battleground would be turned upside down. As such, we refer battlefields laden with dead people as a "Xiu Luo Chang", Chan meaning "ground".

6."Jia Lou Luo" is a form of big bird. It has a big tumor on its forehead. It feeds on a dragon king and 500 small dragons a day.

7."Jing Nuo Luo" has a horn similar to that of a unicorn on its forehead. Fortes are at dancing and singing.

8."Ma Hu Luo Jia" has a human body with a head similar to a python's.
