*The good guys get weaker in term of power as he or she aged specifically when he or she gets to the age 70's. *The bad guys get stronger in term of power as he or she aged; hence the bad guys main characters always in their 50's, 60's or 70's and sometimes in their 90's. *Those bad guys who were killed from the previous story will most likely have a surprised unbeknown son, daughter, elder martial art brother/sister, younger martial art brother/sister, martial art uncle/aunt, or martial art nephew/niece who will seek revenge in the subsequent story. *The martial art level of the main female character will diminish after she got married to the level of her husband or lower in the subsequent story. *While the good guys usually find their marriage mates at their will during their youth, they will become senile hypocrite to their children when it's the time for their children to choose theirs. *Whenever the good guys described as being canny, smart, intelligent and crafty, they became a feeble and narrow minded individuals during adversity befallen upon them, their families or their martial art brothers, sisters, etc. They will lose their sense of logic and automatically make assumption to otherwise to the fact findings. *The villains' appearances usually either tall skinny black faced or bald short rounded and fat. |

The protagonist normally is a no good guy who become powerful after he fell from the cliff or got lucky to become a student from a legendary master who seldom showed up in the martial world. |

*Whenever heroes need a boat to sail the river or ocean, they always asked or said to the owner that they wanted to "rent" or "borrow" the boat. However, the heroes never once return them. They either sank the boat somewhere or left it somewhere. To think these peasants or fishermen should learn their lessons to just say NO to any Wulin heroes who wanted to "rent" or "borrow" their boats. |

*There is no romance in the world of Kho Ping Hoo. Both the protagonist and antagonist fall in love rather easily like in a matter of seconds with uncontrollable raging hormone. The word "I Love You" is so easily said like a discount imitation Louis Vuitton bag at Temple Street flea market in Kowloon or Bugis Village in Singapore. |

Jojon menulis:Talk about fell off the cliff, Pendekar Bodoh episode got the most "fell off the cliff" incidents. 4 different characters (Kwee An, Ma Hoa, Kwee Lin, and Hai Kong Hosiang) fell off the cliff (different cliffs as well) and they all survived, imagined that... I must say that Pendekar Bodoh episode also got the most Legendary Swords (Liong-coan-kiam, Han-le-kiam, Oei-kang-kiam, Oei-kang-to, Ciang-hong-kiam, Ang-ho Sian-kiam, and Liong-cu Siang-kiam) used by the characters. It's like those Legendary Weapons are readily available on some swap meet or garage sale... |

*All the heroines have great voices and singing talents. If KPH's heroines would enter American Idols, Simon Cowell will have a hard time selecting them. |

*The villains often thought of taking their victims or enemies' sisters or daughters to be their wives disregarding the more likely of them to take revenge rather than to acquiesce willingly. |

*The villains have always experienced either a brain dead or lower their intelligent to none existence once they were able to subdue the heroes/heroines. Instead of just easily killing them, they would either keep them in captive or some foreseeable events/situations that allow the heroes/heroines to escape. |

*The heroes/heroines would travel Wulin with their mates in their youth in pair but once they have daughters on their own, their value or view changed in a hypocritical way. |

*Often the color coordination or contrast of the heroes/heroines attires are not matched and they look like clowns from the circus. |
