Hi

We have an urgent requirement for a NETWORK ENGINEER to be engaged
onsite in Singapore on a 1 year renewable contract. Only candidates
available in Singapore for a face-to-face interview need apply.

Selected candidate will be responsible for software quality control
and assurance of systems for real-time financial data collection
projects, with main activities in integration testing, regression
testing and auditing process compliance. The post-holder will
initially work as part of a team and will progressively manage
projects and lead in the quality control of software releases.

Pre-Requisites
--------------
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related IT discipline, with
at least 2 year's work experience.

Experience in using HP/Compaq VAX or Alpha systems running VMS or
OpenVMS. Knowledge on VMS DCL scripting advantageous, and/or
experience on UNIX.

Experience in configuration and/or testing of Netscreen and/or
Cyberguard firewalls, Cisco switched and/or Cisco routers.

Experience in working on software lifecycles adopting the Software
Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM).

Good team player, hardworking and diligent, quality concious with an
eye for detail.

Ability to work on multiple projects and under tight deadlines.

Good communication, interpersonal and technical writing skills.

In addition to the above, applicants possessing the following will
have an added advantage:

Prior software testing experience.
Knowledge on networking and data communications protocols (e.g.
TCP/IP, DECnet, X.25).
CISCO certified. Passed CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or
CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional).
Able to script Microsoft Excel macros.
Business or application knowledge on financial market instruments.
