I was sooo worried when I heard about the earthquake and the tsunami hit in Indonesia.. hopefully everyone is ok...

it mostly hit Sumatra island -- the western most major island. official casualty and damage estimates are still fuzzy and unreliable. the numbers may jump up or go down with each announcement.

communication is down so quite hard to contact relatives and friends.

the problem now is the after effect. mainly clean water and food. the most feared is disease what with lack of sanitation and properly trained medical personnels.

not to mention rampant criminal activities. amusing isn't it while some are looking for missing relatives, others are actually having fun looting broken stores and homes.

Yeah...one of my friend's house was looted while nobody was around, darn it
