Story:
Eiji is single father who run a flower shop near the station. Shizuku is 8 y.o girl with a lovely character, yet Eiji confused when her daughter suddenly start to wearing a cloth mask everyday, every where even to school. One rainy day Mio, a blind lady was waiting infront of his shop waiting for the rain to stop. Eiji invite her in to warm herself, but Mio acting suspicously and don’t want him to pity her. But Eiji’s kind heart make her change her mind.

Later on, Eiji pick up an ex-host, Naoya, that were beaten because he’s stealing his customer wallet. Naoya start to board with Eiji as free loader. Hishida-san, Eiji’s neighbours also another person Eiji invited to live together because she live by herself and doesn’t really want to go to the nursing home.

Eiji said to Hishida-san that ‘they can become family even if they not blood related, because they live under the same roof’.

Anzai Teruo is the head of hospital that has a past grudge against Eiji and is plotting revenge to him. What grudge and how will he do it? How does all character above got involved in it?

Comment:
I have high expectation with this drama because of Yuko Takeuchi and Matsuda Shota. I never watched Katori Shingo’s drama before (SMAP member) so I have no idea what I expect from him.

The first episode is really capturing, I love the scene where Mio standing outside Eiji’s shop waiting for the rain, and the last scene of this episode (in jdorama forum it was mention that last scene has the highest rating point (although I have no idea how they figure it out). The surprise twist even in the first episode already capture my attention.

As the episodes goes, I feel hooked, especially the revelation Eiji got in episode 5. I was like ‘yes!!!’ when it happen… but what Eiji did after that give me a shocked! How could he do that? I mean that’s not the normal reaction!!!! (I make you in suspense hei? , go watch it yourself )

And in episodes 8 I got a nice surprise! Because I didn’t see Tetsuji Tamayama name in the cast, so it’s good to see him here, although his character is more antagonist. Nevertheless, good to see him here.

I think I start to cry from episode 9 onwards and the cry was even harder and harder later on. I mostly cry about the relationship between Eiji and Shizuku, father and daughter. I thought this story will concentrate on the love story, with a twist, but man, I was wrong!

The ending is a bit far fetched though, but one of the last scene shows Eiji’s – not really weakness, but negative point – that has not change despite all the hardship that he has succeed.

I know I’m kinda confusing in giving comments, but this is because I don’t want to spoil too much. Oh Yuko Takeuchi’s acting didn’t disappoint me at all, and so does Matsuda Shota. Katori Shingo’s acting surprisingly good, he matched Yuko’s acting and good chemistry. It’s weird looking at Yuko with Shingo, when I love it so much Yuko with Kimutaku in Pride

I recommend this drama if you looking for a family story with a twist, totally!
