cast :

Stephen Chow - Ah Sing
Wu Meng Da - Uncle Tat
Zhang Min - Yee Mong

In 1990, All for the Winner was a huge success, was in HK Box Office for months, and this movie made Stephen Chow a superstar. This movie actually is a parody of Chow Yun Fat's God of Gamblers, and has three sequels (God of Gambler II (with Andy Lau), God of Gambler Back to Shanghai, and Queen of Gambler (Stephen Chow didn't play in this movie)). This movie also marked the beginning of Stephen Chow's and Wu Meng Da partnerships that last for more than 10 years, we can still see them in Shaolin Soccer (2001)

Story :
Ah Sing (Stephen Chow) just came from Mainland, to look for his uncle Tat (Wu Meng Da) in Hongkong. When his uncle discovered Sing's supernatural power to see through things, he asked Sing to participate in gambling. Sing's ability was heard by Mr. Hung, a top gambler from HK, and invited him to test his skills. As the story goes, Sing signed with Mr. Chung, top gambler from Taiwan and Mr.Chung asked him to participate in World Gambler Championship, in which Mr. Hung also participate.Sing's love interest, Yee Mong (Zhang Min), was kidnapped by Mr. Hung during the tournament, and now in Finals, Sing will be playing against Mr. Hung.

Although this movie is quite old, recently I re-watched this movie again after 10 years, and this movie still made me laugh. The parts when Ah Sing walked slowly when entering the room, trying to look like Kao Chun (God of Gambler) is hillarious. And the "mole in the armpit" jokes was hillarious also. This is one of my favourite Stephen Chow's movie, a must-watched classics for HK movie fans.
