Coffee Prince

to watch this, it took a whole lotta persuasion by my good friend djes .. but boy did i like it!

i was very sceptical about it, mainly because i was cynical thinking this could be yet another one of those over-rated dramas with predictable story lines and mediocre acting. how wrong was i?!!

the acting was excellent, even down to the small roles. some of the plot were cliche, but it was forgiveable due to interesting character development and the excellent performance.

i was so into it i had to read the novel summaries from dramabeans. it was refreshing and gives a different feeling than the drama.

but if i have to go into more details, i think han gyul was stupid not to realise than eunchan is a girl. 2 give away clues:
1. she cries a lot. a lot, a lot. never seen a guy cries that much in real life. except one of my classmates when i was in grade 1 elementary school. crybaby. geesh!
2. no adam's apple. even in the novel, hangyul noticed this, and still didn't suspect anything! isn't it a definite clue? tell me, how stupid can you be not to think that she's a girl after seeing no adam's apple?? or was i mistaken? not all guys have adam's apple? please enlighten me on this one.

OST was good and creative. btw i like the scene when hangyul sings, and when hansung sings. both sing very well i know this drama is geared towards what women want to see, and i for one loves it when a man does serenade

the only "not so good" thing about this series was the ending. it was too... perfect? it doesn't have any loose end, yes (i hate loose end so having none is good for me), but really, it doesn't need to go into too much detail explaining what happen to this guy and that guy and.. what's up with that woman who met mr. hung (hong?) at the supermarket? i was lost and almost hit the ffwd button. they overdid it, i think.

this drama is so cute, i wish i could put it on my pocket and carry it with me every where because i can't help but smile every time i look at it. except that .. i don't have any pocket

LOL. I am addicted. Severely addicted to this one.
Pas denger ada serial ini, ga terlalu excited. Not Yoon Eun Hye's fan. Tapi trus...ada Gong Yoo. Suka dia dari zaman S-Diary and She's on Duty. Tetep ga terlalu excited.
Trus addicted to http://dramabeans.com, dan dia mulai ngomongin serial ini.

And the rest is history ( halah.. ). Now I'm trying to spread the addiction..after successful story with Monica, was forcing my housemate to watch it too.. Langsung dikasih DVDnya, dan " HARUS DITONTON YA! "
Dan masih ngrayu2 ex roommate ( yg tinggal di kota lain ) untuk nonton juga..tell me about persuasion! hihihi

OK, about the story. Ya, this is Korean drama. Cinderella meets Prince Charming, Ugly Duck meets umm, 3rd generation chae-bol ( conglomerate family ).
Nothing more than this kind of story could sweep girl's heart.
Trus..beautiful casts. Sapa yang jelek di serial ini? ga ada huh? Watchable semua. ( OK, those ajusshi didn't count.. )
Trus...romantic scenes. Cheesier is better. Aiyouh. Sapa yang ga melting pas that cousins were singing!
Kissing, hugging scenes..argh. There's no such Han Gyul ( and Han Sung ) in the real life! hahahaha
Semua cliches, trus typical scenes ( ie.: piggyback thingy ) are forgivable!
OK, am exaggerating it..still..
Untungnya kalo PD ( director )nya cewek. She really knows what're girls dream of from a man!
Cowok2 mesti nonton, for the sake of learning. Nonton, biar tau apa yang dipinginin cewek2..

Yang aneh....dari Han Gyul :
1. Dia bisa nyetir sambil ngamuk2. ngamuknya di telp sih, dan pake earphone. tapi tetep.
2. Dia bisa nyetir sambil daydreaming. Mikir jorok lagi!!!
3. Dia bisa nyetir sambil nangis. Nangisnya yg ga cuma berkaca2 gitu loh.
Conclusionnya? He's such a good driver who really can multitasking!

Ahhhhhhh. abis ini nonton apalagi yaaaaaaa....

yg terakhir ngamuk2 di mobil saking ngamuknya sampe dia parkir dulu baru mulai ngamuk2.. haha..

Versi Taiwan lebih panjang, dan...taiwan banget. Ya lucu konyol gitu. Jepang lebih compact, episode jg lebih dikit kan..tapi ceritanya agak beda sih..

Hui Yue Qing Ren aka Contract Lover - ceritanya tipikal yah cerita co yang punya ce tapi takut bawa ce-nya ketemu ortunya malah nyewa ce lain untuk ketemu ortunya, cuma ceritanya ini lucu dan lagunya enak yang main sih aktingnya standar dehhh RR dan FBB

Secret +0.5 - ide ceritanya menarik, me kasih tambahan point 0.5 untuk musik klasik yang dimainkan jay chou dan ce-nya, musiknya jadi asyik cuma gak tahan liat tampangnya jay chou oiii scene dansa anthony wong dan jay chou bisa bikin ketawa geli dehhh

Time between wolf and dog gak ngebosanin, seru, and very touching story paling penting heppy ending ,liat leejunki di mana lupa udah kayak cewek, tapi untungnya disini gak
Coffe prince awalnya bagus, pas udah masuk ke season 2 adah mulai agak ngebosenin, apa mungkin scene pacarannya tll banyak ya

Soul Mate +0.5 kdrama - cerita b aja, malah cenderung boring kalo pas ceritanya bukan bagian mereka, even co-nya lumayan sih sayang endingnya kurang greget nih...lagu-lagunya sih enak oiiii...

The Legend of Hyang Dan kdrama - ceritanya sih bolehlah...lucu juga sihhh...yang gak mudeng tuh 2 hantu kakak adik ngapain sih??? trus ada yang nyanyi-nyanyi juga di tengah-tengah cerita tapi bukan ala india lhooo...

Sekali nonton susah berenti....gue tengah malem ngakak2 sendiri nonton nih film Kalo ga inget besok kerja en dipaksa2 tidur, bisa ga berenti nih nontonnya. Gue yg ga demen clasical music aja demen....gyabooo!!!

Ga gue kasih 5 stars krn meski Chiaki-nya attractive, buat gue ga bener2 yg "wah cakepnya". Kalo yg maen bener2 bisa bikin gue ampe ngiler2, baru gue kasih 5 deh
