As I'm reading this episode of Raja Pedang by Kho Ping Hoo, I couldn't help the similarities with "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber" or "To Liong To" by Louis Cha.

1. Beng San got poisoned from a palm strike, Jin-tok-ciang, that is cold or "Im" energy nature.

Zhang WuJi was hit by a cold poisonous palm strike called Xuan Meng Shen Zhang.

2. Beng San was able to cure his poisonous injury by learning a formidable martial art called Im-yang-sin Kiam-sut.

Zhang WuJi learned Jiu Yang Sheng Jing to cure his injury.

3. Wulin heroes and villains in Raja Pedang wanted Liong-cu Siang-kiam, a pair of male and female swords.

In the Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber, Wulin heroes and villains of course wanted the Dragon Saber and Heaven Sword which were a pair of male and female weapons.

4. Both Raja Pedang and the Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber took place during the waning years of Yuan Dynasty (Goan).

5. While Kwee Sin killed himself by slashing his throat at Hoa-san-pai to clear his name in Raja Pedang; Zhang CuiShan killed himself in the same manner at Wudang (Bu-tong-pai).

6. Raja Pedang has Toat-beng Yok-mo, an eccentric divine healer who can heal anything but must also took the life he saved.

In the Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber, Hu QingNiu was the eccentric Sage of Healer who refused to heal anyone other than those who belong to Ming Cult.

7. Toat-beng Yok-mo had to be challenged that he couldn't heal Bun Lim Kwi's injuries by Beng San the main hero in Raja Pedang.

Hu QingNiu was tricked in the same manner by Zhang WuJi in order to heal Chang YuChun.

8. The sect or cult that rebeled against the Yuan Dynasty in Raja Pedang which was called Pek-lian-pai.

Ming Cult rebeled against the Yuan Dynasty in the Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber.

9. The undercover informer inside Yuan Dynasty in Raja Pedang was Tan Beng Kui.

In the Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber, the insider informer was Fan Yao.

10. Raja Pedang has Kim-mouw-sai Lim Seng who has a golden hair like a lion as a member of Pek-lian-pai

In the Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber, Xie Xun was the Golden Mane Lion King as a member for Ming Cult.
