Is it even possible to find rather cheap inks for a printer? I checked some stores and the prices are extremely huge. Why is it so?? Is there a shortage of ink?

Why do you need ink? If you often print photos, then I understand you, but if you mainly print documents, then you'd better find a laser printer like brother.
