Anyone know what happened to past badminton players ? Where they are and what they are doing now ?

I would be nice to see those old faces again and hope they do just fine in life outside Badminton.

I heard the ex Chinese star Zhao JianHua went to Singapore to open up his own Chicken Rice restaurant (Hai Nan Chicken rice) once but the last thing I heard, he had moved back to China.

I also know that Alan Budikusuma and Susi Susanti own a badminton equipment company in Indonesia by the name of Astec. They also have a few more businesses. The couple often travel around Asia to promote their businesses and do badminton clinic services to clubs and other badminton organizations.

Bukannya banyak yg pindah keluar jadi pelatih gitu? Dulu pernah denger kalo Ardy pindah ke US trus Rexy ke Inggris. Pemaen Cina jaman Susi dulu, Li Linghua (name??) kan nikah ma org Jawa, tinggal di Indo kalo ga salah.

Liem Swieking buka pijat refleksi, alasannya dulu dia merasakan sendiri betapa menolongnya bila dipijat saat capek. Punya beberapa outlet kalau ngga salah.
Rudy Hartono, bisnis oli Top One.
Tan Joehok, ini businessman paling tajir di antara mereka.
Alan dan Susi, beri license ke sebuah perusahaan raket untuk pakai nama mereka di produknya (AStec = Alan Susi technology). Mereka juga kerjasama dengan inkopal buka lapangan badminton.

Around March 2004, Rudy Hartono and Foo Kok Keong at the request of some christian groups gave a badminton clinic to 250 people in Genting Highlands, Malaysia.

Beside giving out many important badminton tips and demos he also talked about how he nearly lost eveything in his bypass in Australia and also
the horrible weather when he won his first All England.

Rudy also talked about religion.
