Ada yang tau gimana cara ngerubah file dari format AVI ke dalam bentuk VCD, supaya bisa ditonton di VCD/DVD player?

sebenernya avi bukan format. cuma container buat video stream + audio stream. vcd pake mpeg1. video stream di avi bisa macam2 jenisnya, bisa divx, bisa xvid, bisa mpeg4. audionya juga bisa ac3, bisa mp3, bisa uncompressed wav biasa.

liat dulu video stream + audio stream pake format apa?

virtualdubmod http://virtualdubmod.sourceforge.net/ lumayan flexible, butuh filter buat formatnya. misal mau buka xvid harus punya filter buat xvid. filter loh bukan codec.

btw bakal makan waktu lama tergantung kecepatan computer ama conversion formatnya.

KAlo udah ada encoder/decodernya pake NERO juga bisa, tapi nunggunya lama amir, dia ngedecode ke VCDnya

first of all, i don't recommend converting avi into a vcd. vcd uses mpeg1 which very old and limited to 320x240 resolution. there are some alternative format like kvcd or super-vcd but i doubt any standard vcd-player will play these.

nowadays most avi has video-stream in standard mpeg2 format (like dvd) which has at least 512x384 resolution. or in mpeg4 format with resolution at least 640x480. btw there is no mpeg3 (mp3 is NOT mpeg3, mp3 is mpeg1 layer 3). all those divx, xvid, 3vid, vorbis, matroska, and others are derivatives of either mpeg2 or mpeg4.

not to mention the sound. vcd is only capable of stereo (2-channel) sound stream. no AC3, AC5.1, or even good mp3 sound.

as i mentioned in the previous post, avi is not a format. avi is just a container of video and sound stream. others like ogm can also contain soft subtitle (that you can turn on and off, like in dvd). they can even also contain multiple sound stream so you can change the spoken language (again like in dvd).

so converting avi into vcd is like having a bmw and trading it for honda. why would you want to do that. unless the avi file actually contains mpeg1 video and basic stereo 2-channel sound, i.e. already in 'vcd format' anyway.

you can use your computer as player and connect it to your television. many graphic cards nowadays has tv-out connection.

just burn the files as they are, as data-cd containing avis, not vcd. that's what i always do. if somehow you want to convert (i.e. downgrade) them into vcd in the future, you can. but if you have already convert them into vcd, you can't upgrade them back to their original quality.

http://www.videohelp.com/ is quite extensive. there are several several tools you can use. depends on what format the original file is (standard mpeg1, divx, xvid, matroska, windows media, etc).

quicktime movie. ga tau yah gua ga pernah convert sama sekali sih. coba cari mov ke mpeg2 (dvd = mpeg2).

Mov ke vcd, bisa pake (free) TmpGEnc + (free) Apple plugins
Mov ke mpeg2 (including DVD), mesti "beli" TmpGEncPlus + (free) Apple plugins

gue dah dapet software converternya pep, WinAvi, bisa convert ke DVD, AVI dan RM..hmm cool

WinAVI hmm, belom coba. Selama ini sih low cost encoder paling clean and sharp itu TmpGEnc, MainConcept, ato CCE. I'm going to try WinAVI.....

Aku sudah selesai DL elfen lied tapi waktu aku buka di windows media player kok gambarnya nga keluar ya? muncul pesan error downloading codec. kenapa ya? tolong donk bantuin, udah berjuang susah payah DL tapi nga bisa di tonton, please bantuin.

Padahal aku sudah install DivX 5.03.

Ada yang tahu nga sotware buat protek vcd? jadi biar vcd yang kita burn itu nga bisa dibaca di kompi dan tidak bisa di copy. tapi bisa di play di vcd player.

kayanya ga ada yang kaya gitu. semua yang bisa diputar di player biasa pasti bisa diputar di computer. setau gua loh.
