Synopsis

Ma Yoo Hee has an independent personality and is the only daughter of the owner of an advertisement company. She works as an advertisement planner. After she is introduced to Jae Mo Ryong, who is a student learning cooking, she falls in love with him. Dennis Oh will play a famous French Chef from America. He is perfect guy named Johnny Kruger from New York. He plays a big part in hooking up Ma Yoo-Hee and Jae Mo Ryong. Jang Sung Mi is the ex-girlfriend of Mo Ryong.
Kim Jung Hoon will play as a doctor, he likes Yoo Hee. And Hwang Ji Hyun will play as Yoo Hee's senior.

Namanya bukan Mong Ryong ternyata... kayanya kedengerannya Mu Ryong deh... gua nekad nih nonton ga pake teks, cuma berdasarkan summary orang2 doang...

Joon Hye Bin itu yg main apa yah... kog tampangnya familiar bener... terus cewenya Hyun Bin itu jadi apa sih di sini? Gres, biasa elu paling update nih kdrama... helep dong...

Ini nih 5 pemain utamanya:

lagi liat neh emang bagus. lucuuu baru episode 7.

2 disc pertama terjemahan dari fansub bagusss. disc 3 mulai deh terjemahan dari pembajak super ngaco ga maksud.

johnny tuh blasteran beneran yah? si Mu Ryong lumayan juga inggrisnya. Ha Ga In emang cakep.

yang maen jadi senior sapa sih tuh? maennya kakuuu banget kaya patung aja. tapi Ha Ga In suka aja.

terlalu klise, karena klisenya bisa ketebak gimana endingnya dr ep 2 onwards. which is ok, this is a drama afterall. i'm used to that now. but really, it made me sit through and watch the ever so tiring plot. tiring because it's repetitive... over and over.. and over..

how many times did Yoo Hee lose her cell phone?
how many times did we have to see a heart attack?
how many times did someone decided not to board a plane?
how many times did someone have to go through this "talk" about whether or not they should split up!

i'm sick of it!! please, get on with it, move on, people.

i already know that A loves B and B loves A although C loves A and D loves B. No need to keep repeating scenes just to reveal that fact. PLEASE. i know the chemistry between A & B isn't good. (there's no good chemistry at all in this series), however making me go through all those nonsense is a crime.

and little details that upset me.
1. if you just had an accident which caused difficulty in using your hand, would you go and have dinner in a fancy restaurant and ordered STEAK?? huh. we know you can't use your hand! move on.
2. how call waiting is just never a popular technology in korea. why? because the "love birds" cannot simultaneously call each other hence both calls go to voice mail. at the exact same second. it must be fate.
3. i hate it in one hugging scene where moo ryong hugs yoo hee. because it was strikingly similar to one of my favourite scene when mong ryong hugged choon hyang same actor, different actress, and i prefer the original.
4. that american-korean girl (supposedly dennis oh's friend or girlfriend) that kept asking dennis to go back to NY. oh. annoyingly has no acting skills whatsoever. AND she had to appear TWICE. for the same reason - compelling dennis to go back to NY. (an example of pointless repetition).
5. THE ENDING. OMG. THE ENDING. the disc stalled at minute 50 and went back to menu. i had to ffwd it, and since i was ffwding anyway, i kept ffwding beyond minute 50.. and kept going.. and going.. and.. and.. END.
what just happened? yes it's finished. WHY? ok thanks for putting an end through what i could call a "torture", but explain please why do you make me go through all those unpleasant details in previous episodes, without having a satisfying end to them?? and ooooooh the repetition, again, even in the end. and they seemed to rush the ending, forgetting to tie all loose ends. i hate loose ends. if you're not that bothered to think about a good ending, why did u make me watch through all that? i'm very annoyed.

the ONLY thing that was worthwile watching hence giving 1 point:

0.5 for how handsome dennis is, and they threw in a scene where he reveal his top body, shirtless. thank god for creating him, thank his parents for having him. thank djes for lending me the dvd so my eyes can be pleased. his acting is not so good but i see a lot of improvement from "sweet spy".

0.5 for how good jae hee's acting is. and i still like him.

to sum up, it's a waste of good cast (except the one that played allison - that annoying korean american girl - i can't believe in the entire korea u can't find anyone who can speak english fluently but can act decently!) in a crappy series (which tries so hard to fit into all genres: romance, comedy, thriller, gangster...)

all in all, it was a very tiring experience. thank god for dennis and jae hee who made it possible for me to watch it until the end.

komedi berkurang drastis. ceritanya dragging banget, maen tarek ulur.

iya keren yah, telpon selalu ketinggalan. makanya beli telp kecil bisa taroh kantong oho.

Kim Jeong Hoon (Yoo Joon Ha) bener2 muka patung deh. ga ada ekspresi sama sekali. tiap dia muncul langsung fast forward. hemat listrik.

yang paling menarik dari semua malah Johnny ama Ma Ri (koki cewe).

witch or no witch, gua pilih Han Ga In (Ma Yoo Hee) cuma sayang yah dipotong pendek rambutnya. bagusan panjang.

jadi intinya nonton ini cm karena mau liatin Han Ga In-nya ya Jo?

Intinyaaaaaa....nonton ini jangan dipikir ceritanya. Liatin aja yang cakep2..

G sampe ga nonton endingnya. BASI BANGET. Nyesel, ngabisin duit buat beli DVD. Untungnya bisa diliat lagi orang laen ( Monica, tante gue ), jadi paling ga ada gunanya..
KJH g dah pengen sambit ajaaaaaaaaaa....huh. bego banget. SEBEL. Mending cakep. ( menurut g sih ga cakep sama sekali..)

nah.. dah mulai wear out kan.. hihihi..

disc 6 bener2 deh. blom liat endingnya. episode terakhir rusak huhuhu.

sebenernya 10 episode aja cukup deh. cerita jadi lebih padat.

djes, ini liat gara2 ga supply adanya ini soo yah daripada bengong n penasaran coba aja liat. awalnya bagguussss jadi lanjutttt. ternyata oh ternyata tega nian sang sutradara.

Han Ga In ama sapa tuh yang jadi Ma Ri, cakep yahhh. yang satu jago masak. yang satu lagi jago tae kwon do. perut kenyang dan idup aman tentram ga takut maling.

Kasian disini hye bin (cewe nya jae hee), udah baek hati sekali eh ditinggal...kali ini kog rasanya yang pemeran utama cowo plin plan mbencekno...dikasih kepercayaan total eh..malah...

soalnya Han Ga In lebih cakep sih.

namanya juga tinggal bareng, sering ketemu. lama kelamaan pasti ada perasaan.

han ga in emg cakep,.. tapi aku koq lebih suka dia rambut pendek ya.. lebih modis mnrtku tuh jo?? malah pengen banget punya potongan rambut ky gt.. tapi ga isa soalnya dia rambutnya bagus, banyak.. rambutku tipis gini apa daya..

OT: akira_yuki orang jawa timur ya?? dah lama ga denger orang bilang "mbencekno".. hihi..

Han Ga In rambut panjang juga bagus tapi agak susah. kepala agak kecil sih. rambut pendek lebih gampang kan balanced ga nutupi kepala.

still, panjang ato pendek sama cakep. jangan gundul aja.

o ya jo.. ga suka ama kim jeong hoon yah?? hihi.. banyak ce yg suka dia tuh, tapi emg di sini actingnya SO CRAP.. haha.. si djes tuh contoh yg kena getahnya gara2 ngasi review jelek ttg dia trus ada fansnya yg ngamuk belain..

johnny (dennis oh ) emg interesting tapi katanya di situ koreannya super jelek, sampe kalo yg nonton korean tanpa subtitle ga ngarti dia ngomong apa.. haha..

itu rambut pendeknya han ga in aku sampe pernah tanya ama djes itu rambut palsu apa bukan. alamak indah nian..
