When you think of Badminton, which players come to mind... ? For me, the choice has always been Liem Swie King. The famous King Smash, and his charisma in the court was simply amazing. It's so refreshing to watch him doing the smash and all of those other feats in All England. He's my all time top player, I love him more than even Rudy Hartono or any of the newer ones. For the women, well... I don't really like women badminton, maybe Susie Susanti. |

andrea7974 menulis:Yang Yang popularized the 'Spinned Serve' (aka Serve Pelintir) that terrorized Indonesia and the rest of the world for many years. This highly, tricky serve was clever, cunning and deathly. When someone try to return serve pelintir, you either have to dig it (and the server can easily smash or do a quick chop to your face/body) or hit it conservatively but it often hit the net. The 'Spinned Serve' was later banned and abolished from used in Professional Badminton Championship events. |

banning something in sport because it works so well is silly. (sport)people should try to come up with the counter. otherwise we won't improve. it's no different than a child crying back to his/her mom because his friend defeat him everytime in a game. instead of admitting he's inferior (in term of game/sport strategy/skill) a child would sulk and call the opponent a cheater. |
