These are the questions we need to ask ourselves:
Do we need to bump up the member count?
Are we happy with unique hits as a reference to how popular we are?
How do we entice all these guests who come only to the reading room to become a member?

Making translation and fiction private will force these guests to register. My feeling is that if they really want to read the articles and find them interesting, they will register. Registration is FREE with no strings attached anyway.
