I'm looking for a free solid reference too, but a historian of South East Asia had a discussion forum about 3-4 years ago (I forgot the name now) at one of the major universities in New York, during the Asian Crisis leading to the fall of Suharto, and bring out copies of data and facts based on finding from CIA disclosing these factual accounts.

If you see the discussion in the history forum where I originally got this topic from, the original poster was also looking for references, websites, etc, perhaps it's not free to general public.
