Lenovo (0992) and IBM will hold signing ceremony at 0100 GMT in Beijing, to be video-linked in HK. Neither company has announced details of deal, which widely expected to involve Lenovo acquiring bulk of IBM's PC business for up to US$2 billion; WSJ reports Lenovo and IBM plan to create new U.S. PC company that would own IBM's PC business. Analysts say Lenovo would need to issue new shares to fund any acquisition. Lenovo to remain suspended today. Pre-suspension price HK$2.675.(JLW)
