Yup similar... It's a story about human greeds. In the vcd, the poor boy was in love with his soe moay, the incredibly cute Ho Mei Tian. She didn't exactly run off with another boy, but... it produced the same result, broken heart. The story about this boy happened way around the 10th episode, though. Before that it was about the "treasure" and the love story of another couple..... This series could have and should have been condensed to around 20 episodes instead of the 34 (?) eps. Enough spoiler already....
