I'd better quit this before the BluDonKey give me a low-blow for hijacking her thread.... :whip:

The questions that one should ask, at least the way I look at it, are these:
1. Do you work for the fun of it? Would you rather go to work than play?
2. Is $50K earned by a husband worth more than $50K earned by a wife?
3. Does it make a husband less of a "man" when the income comes from the wife?
4. Is it better for a family to earn less just to satisfy the myth that the man of the house should be the provider of the family?
5. Is it better to have kids reared at daycare than at home ?
6. Does it matter if the mother or the father rears the kids ?

If my wife earns more than I do and have a much better chance of succeeding in the workplace, I don't mind staying home or working part time and taking care of the kids.

A mansion that is earned by my wife's sweat and blood is still a much better alternative for the family than a rundown low income housing that I earned thru my sweat and blood. It's not about what she earned, it's not about what I earned, it's about what is best for the family.
