I don't remember most of the episode though. Sheridan, DeLenn, Vorlon, the shadows. Good memory. There was also a single season spin off about the the Rangers and the Techno-mage that was canceled due to the disagreement between the creator (JMS) and the production company.

B5 was a Chinovela, koreanovela, telenovela in space. Whereas koreanovela's story arc are free flowing (whatever the audience wants), B5 arc has been written beforehand. In fact the season finale was produced a year prior to the airtime. J. Michael Straczynski liked the lord of the rings so much that he borrow the concept and names from them.
