A Story to live by One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend. He asked her, 'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him. Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.' This is how the human brain often works when our status changes. Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations. Life Is a Gift Today before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak. Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat. Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion. Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who died too early on this earth. Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires children but they're barren... Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean or sweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets. Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet. And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job. But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another - Remember that not one of us is without sin. And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and think: you're ALIVE and still around. |

nemu ini tentang ikan dan air: In the water there lives a fish. The water love the fish and showered the fish with lots of care and warmth. Yet the fish fell in love with the blue sky above the water. One day the fish was in tears and told the water that you never see me cry cause I am in the water. The water replied "I can't see you crying but I can feel your tears as you are embraced in my heart." |

gara2 liat tv series Life. banyak banget Zen di sana. ini yang gua inget: You breath air. I breath air. You friends breath air. Your enemies also breath air. The sun shines on you. The sun shines on me. The sun shines on your friends and enemies. In a way we are all connected. Thus if you hurt your enemies, you merely hurt yourself.

Another story: My mom only had one eye. I hated her... She was such an embarrassment. She cooked for students & teachers to support the family. There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to say hello to me. How could she do this to me? I wanted to bury myself. My mom did not respond... I wanted out of that house, and have nothing to do with her. When she stood by the door, my children laughed at her, and I yelled at her for coming over uninvited. And to this, my mother quietly answered, "Oh, I'm so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address." So I lied to my wife that I was going on a business trip. My neighbors said that she died. My dearest son, I think of you all the time. I'm sorry that I came to your house and scared your children. I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion. But I may not be able to even get out of bed to see you. I'm sorry that I was a constant embarrassment to you when you were growing up. With all my love to you, Always tell someone that you love them because you never know what day will be their last, or your own. Always seek to resolve your problems or disagreements with loved ones. Because if either of you should pass on before, the one who is left alive will have the rest of their life to ponder those unresolved feelings but will never find closure. And closure usually brings peace... |
