Sahabat, Kawan and teman!! Which one is more familiar word in conversational indo???

yonny, i'm going to continue the lesson. :D

this time you can request a specific topic and i'll try to explain. i can continue the prefices and suffices but those i haven't touched yet are very difficult and not used often in daily conversations.
e.g.:
me- prefix which depending on the basic word mutates into: men-, mem-, meng-; or combines with other suffces: -i, -kan.

More often used --> less often: teman --> kawan --> sahabat

Yet they mean the same. Some say 'sahabat' means close friend (teman dekat, kawan dekat)

dekat :: near
sohib :: friend (slang)
pren :: indonesianized english word (girls love to do this, like 'elo' for 'hello')
