Wah, ternyata pernah ada bukunya ya? Solidsnake baca buku yg terbitan Elex jg tah? Msh ada ga ya di indo? BTW, Mu Guiying itu kayaknya yg terkenal ya...gue jg pernah baca2 namanya itu tuh...juga tertarik pengen tau the real Mu Guiying. Kalo Yang Family yg versi Alec Su mah itu jgn dibuat acuan samasekale lah, IMO, itu cuman buat cuci mata saja Sekilas dr yg gue dpt di Internet : The Yang Family of Generals Yang Ye himself had been an adopted child. His original name was Yang Zhonggui. His father was Yang Xin, a powerful man in the Linzhou area. During the Western Han era, Yang Xin sent the lad Yang Zhonggui to Taiyuan. Liu Chong, an official of Taiyuan, was impressed by Yang Zhonggui's demeanor and adopted him as grandson, renaming him Liu Xuye. After the end of Western Han, Liu Xuye served the Northern Song dynasty, and renamed himself Yang Ye, taking elements from both his birth name and his adopted name. He distinguished himself in the wars against the Liao. Being an able general, Yang Ye incurred the jealousy of a fellow general and was betrayed into the hands of the Liao army. He did in captivity 3 days later as a result of a hunger strike. Yang Ye left behind 10 children. One of them was Yang Yanshun, aka Yang Balang (Balang means "Number 8 Boy"). It is common knowledge that Number 8 was an adopted son. With his brother, Number 4, Number 8 was taken captive by the Liao in battle and married to a Liao princess (local wives were a means to prevent escape attempts by foreign captives). Tradition has it that both Number 4 and Number 8 perished while trying to flee with another brother who had infiltrated the Liao. There are a number of landmarks in China which have traditions associated with Balang: |
