yes Ateng is a famous comedian in indo during 1960-1970, formed a comedy group (Kwartet Jaya) with Iskak,Eddy Sud and Bing Slamet.
After the group split, he teamed up with Iskak and starred several movies in the 70s like : Ateng Minta Kawin (Ateng want to marry), Ateng Pinokio (Pinocchio), Ateng Mata Keranjang and also starred in a comedy TV show (Ria Jenaka) for quite a long time (more than 10 years ?)
He passed away (on June 2003 i think)
