Actually,....kalo kita sign ato agree ama "DNR"...itu artinya orang/patient yg di DNR gak mau di-resuscitate....the level of resuscitatation nya juga bisa di customize munurut yg kita/family mau.
Yg perlu punya/sign adalah......power of attorney of health care ato advance directive.
Advance directives are documents signed by a competent person giving direction to health care providers about treatment choices in certain circumstances. There are two types of advance directives. A durable power of attorney for health care "durable power" allows you to name a "patient advocate" to act for you and carry out your wishes. A living will allows you to state your wishes in writing, but does not name a patient advocate.

tp,...setiap tempat kan aturannya beda.....jd tergantung lokasinya deh :p

Ed, you are talking about letting one's death to occur naturally by stopping treatment in your context here right? Not actively causing death. Even if one has the advance directive, nobody can "legally" euthanize him or her in the US. Maybe one can go to the Netherland to have oneself put to sleep, but definitely not in the US. That's what land Dr. Kervokian in jail.

For me in this case, my believe is against the teaching of my religion. (Do I go to hell?)

This remind me of the latest episode of ER when a certain individual must decide the fate of .....
Never mind. I don't want to die a painful death in the hand of a certain somebody ....
