Yang Yang popularized the 'Spinned Serve' (aka Serve Pelintir) that terrorized Indonesia and the rest of the world for many years. This highly, tricky serve was clever, cunning and deathly. When someone try to return serve pelintir, you either have to dig it (and the server can easily smash or do a quick chop to your face/body) or hit it conservatively but it often hit the net.

The 'Spinned Serve' was later banned and abolished from used in Professional Badminton Championship events.
